Contact

The editors of The Green Mountain Collector welcome questions, corrections and suggestions for new guides. A reader who has found an error, or who knows a family of objects this magazine has not yet covered, is the best source of the next article.

Write to the editors

The public address for the magazine is contact@druryhouse.com. Please say which page you are writing about, and, where a correction is concerned, what the page says and what it should say. A photograph of the object or the mark in question helps, since so much of this field is read by eye.

What this magazine cannot do

The Green Mountain Collector does not value objects, does not buy or sell them, and does not act for any shop, auction house or collector. A message asking for a valuation, an offer or an introduction cannot be answered with one. The magazine can explain how an object is read, and where to look for a specialist, and it is glad to do that.

Subject suggestions

Suggestions for new guides are welcome. The most useful ones name a family of objects, the questions a collector asks about it, and any reference book or body that covers it. Suggestions that point to a real gap in the five sections are the ones most likely to become a page.

Where to start reading

A reader who is new to the magazine might begin with the antique clocks guide, or with the smalls and sporting section if the objects in question are small. The about page explains what the magazine covers and how it treats its subjects.
